Our experience at Tutzil Nah and Cockscomb was very special and amazing, due to the wonderful guides Julian and Gregorio their children and families. We feel as though we learned about the jungle from people who knows it like none other. The Chun brothers can "Read" the forest to us who have come for a brief visit. They share its many wonders and secret with us visitors.

Cockscomb Jaguar Preserve Day Trip
A combination of bird watching, Insect, and plants identification on nature walk trails. Also a possibility of seeing a kind of mammals. Such as Black Howler monkey, Coati, peccary and others. Continue explore by doing inner-tube float down river. Walk for a short distance to the waterfalls to swim or stand under the heavy shower.

 Red Bank/Scarlet Macaw Trip (seasonal)
Hike up hill to see these magnificent scarlet macaw in late December through March. The only part of Belize, easy access to see large numbers of these parrots. After the hike, you can jump in the crystal clear river coming from the mountain.

The Magical Night Walk
Walk in the darkness or moonlight in the jungle. Listen to the liveliness and sound of the jungle and creatures from crickets to Howler monkey , owls, frogs and more. Doing a night walk, you increase the chances of seeing mammals like pacca, kinkajou, or a rear Braids Tapir, or you can be one of lucky person to see one of the wild cat species.

Bird Watching Trip Only
Wake up with the birds calls. Cockscomb and Mayflower parks are a few of the best places to do bird watching in our region. An estimated 290 species of birds in Cockscomb.

Cockscomb Jungle Kayaking
Kayak down pristine jungle river in Cockscomb. In our single or double inflatable kayaks. Best way to see lots of Birds species, Iguanas and other mammals. River runs at a good pace that you don’t do a lot of paddling. A few spots have a class 2-3 white water chute. This is optional to run. You can walk around them.
- Duration: Around 4 hours on river (Level, moderate).
